Become a member of Clean Break
Clean Break are recruiting members for the 2018/19 season of their free specialist theatre programme – starting in September.
Members receive a foundation of learning and skills in theatre performance, creativity and wellbeing, and opportunities to engage in professional, public facing performance projects. Many previous Members are now studying and working in theatre and the arts as performers, designers, and stage managers.
If you’re a woman who has lived experience of the criminal justice system or are at risk of offending and want to get involved they want to hear from you.
Clean Break was set up in 1979 by two women prisoners who believed that theatre could bring the hidden stories of imprisoned women to a wider audience. Still the only women’s theatre company of its kind, Clean Break has remained true to these roots and continues to inspire playwrights and captivate audiences with groundbreaking plays on the theme of women and crime.
