Prison Reading Groups’ are holding their annual ‘reading in prison day’ at the University of Roehampton on 9th June, with key themes including: putting the library at the heart of the prison, reading and families, and ‘why read?’ The event is for prison governors, librarians and volunteers, authors, ex-prisoners and representatives of education and literacy organisations. It is free and includes lunch and refreshments.
