HMP Grendon and Ikon seek new artist in residence

Ikon is inviting artists to apply for a three-year residency at HMP Grendon. It follows on from artist Edmund Clark’s residency (2014-2018), which culminated in the Ikon exhibition and publication In Place of Hate.

Funded by the Marie-Louise von Motesiczky Charitable Trust, this is an exciting opportunity for an artist to work with the therapeutic and democratic community unique to the Buckinghamshire prison. The successful candidate will produce their own work and deliver an effective arts programme for the prison.
