More good vibes
Good Vibrations is campaigning to bring ‘more good vibes’ to its past participants.
The communal music making charity, which supports people in challenging circumstances with additional needs, has developed a Beyond Performance project for people who have taken part in a Good Vibrations course and want to further develop their skills as musicians. The Beyond Performance course runs from 10th – 14th September and will combine gamelan and other art-forms such as film-making or story-telling, and culminates in a high profile performance at York University.
For anyone for whom cost is a barrier to participating, the course will be free. Good Vibrations will endeavour to support past participants with travel and accommodation costs.
Former participants can also stay in touch by showcasing their work at a celebration event that will take place in London this autumn, or by joining Good Vibrations’ Participant Advisory Group, which comes together regularly to help develop the organisation.
