Social impact funding launched for creative organisations in north of England

Following its announcement in November 2018, Sheffield-based social enterprise Key Fund has now launched a new fund open to creative and cultural organisations that provide a meaningful social impact in their local communities.

Work could include using music sessions for young people not in education or craft workshops with former prisoners.

Secured from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, the £3 million Northern Cultural Regeneration Fund will support small and early stage VCSE organisations access social investment to grow both their impact as well as their trading activity.

Enterprises across the Northern Powerhouse areas will be eligible for blended investments (loan and grant) of up to £150,000.

Applications are ongoing.

Organisations can find out more and apply by registering with Key Fund
