The National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance (NCJAA) is the leading national network supporting the arts and creative practice in criminal justice settings. Our aim is to ensure the arts are used within the criminal justice system as a springboard for positive change. The NCJAA is part of Clinks, which supports, represents and advocates for the voluntary sector in criminal justice, enabling them to provide the best possible opportunities for individuals and their families. Our vision is of a vibrant, independent and resilient voluntary sector that enables people to transform their lives.

We are recruiting for a manager who will be responsible for overseeing the work and development of the NCJAA. The manager is responsible for a small staff team and will work with a range of different stakeholders to improve policy and practice in relation to arts-based work with people in prison, on probation and in the community. This includes maintaining and strengthening the NCJAA as the leading national network for arts organisations and individuals that work in the criminal justice system.

Clinks is an equal opportunities employer and individuals with direct experience of the criminal justice system and/or with protected characteristics are actively encouraged to apply. This post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Clinks’ recruitment policy is that there is no requirement to disclose any convictions when applying for this role.
